This study aims to analyze efforts to prevent environmental damage by introducing the concept of waste recycling to fifth-grade students at SD NEGERI 1 Kampung Baru, Bandar Lampung, in the context of collaboration and mitigation of the climate crisis and disasters. This activity was carried out with the aim of providing an understanding of the importance of sustainable waste management and the active role of the younger generation in facing the challenges of the climate crisis. The method used was an educational approach through interactive socialization, which included pre-tests and post-tests. The results of this activity show that the students have understood and are able to implement recycling steps, which are expected to trigger environmental awareness at the individual and community levels. The involvement of students in this activity is also expected to strengthen the role of public participation in efforts to mitigate the climate crisis and disasters, while also supporting sustainable development goals at the local level.
