PELATIHAN KESIAPSIAGAAN BENCANA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN DAN TINDAKAN MITIGASI BENCANA SISWA DI SDN 1 KAMPUNG BARU KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG

Abstract

The increasing risk of natural disasters in urban areas, such as those in Bandar Lampung City, demands better awareness and preparedness, especially among school children. This research aims to equip students of SDN 1 Kampung Baru, Bandar Lampung City with disaster mitigation knowledge and skills through interactive and practical training. This service activity involves interactive and visual material delivery methods, accompanied by simulations to strengthen students' understanding of the steps to deal with emergency situations. Through this approach, students are expected to be able to respond better to disasters, so as to create a generation that is ready to face the threat of disasters. The results of the service showed an increase in students' understanding of disaster mitigation, as seen from their ability to answer evaluation questions after the training.
