DIGITAL POLICY SEBAGAI KEBIJAKAN PUBLIK DISKUSI PUBLIK: BAGI MAHASISWA

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to increase the literacy of students on Digital Policy as Public Policy and its applications. The target of this activity is Students in Palembang City. The method of implementation of this activity is a public discussion (Lectures and interactive discussions) organized offline followed by 80 participants. This public discussion is aimed at improving student capacity and improving understanding of Digital Policy as a public policy and its application. Evaluations in this activity were conducted pre-test and post-test, and the results found from the submission of the material and this discussion that with the presence of public discussion the contribution increased the skills and knowledge of the participants (up by 30% from 60% to 90%). It is hoped that after following this public discussion, the participants' understanding of the introduction of Digital Policy ranging from the basic concepts to its crucial role in public policy, will be able to integrate public policy theory, technology, and its close relationships and be capable of exploring digital technology developments, understanding the latest transformations and implications for public policy while highlighting the challenges in following technological change as well as providing a progressive view of the challenges and prospects of the future in digital government policy, providing inspiring recommendations for more superior and adaptive policies. Thus, these discussions can be the latest and in-depth guide in understanding and formulating relevant digital policies in the context of an evolving era.
